The Government has allocated budget support for major national projects in Rennell and Bellona under the 2024–25 National Budget, passed by Parliament. These projects are part of a broader commitment to boost infrastructure, connectivity, and economic development across the province.

Key national projects include the construction of the Ahanga Wharf (funded by the Asia Development Bank ADB and SIG), development of the East Rennell Airstrip, targeted tourism initiatives, and critical road improvement works. These initiatives aim to enhance access, support local industries, and open up new opportunities for communities across the islands.

All projects will be implemented by the national government, ensuring proper oversight and alignment with national development goals. The Rennell and Bellona Constituency Office will continue to collaborate with relevant ministries to support successful delivery and keep local communities informed and involved.
